The primary business purpose of ÖBB-Immobilienmanagement GmbH is the exercise of usage rights as well as the best possible management (including administration) and utilisation of properties owned by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, excluding the ones which form part of the railway infrastructure as per § 10a of the Railway Act of 1957 which are needed for railway operation and rail transport, as well as properties which a railway infrastructure company needs in order to provide other services (§ 58 of the Railway Act of 1957), and the exercise of the rights conferred as per § 24 para 2. of the Federal Railway Act as amended by the BGBl. I 95/2009.
